If you want to understand why the AI agent gave a specific response or see the data it used, enable the Show Answer Knowledge Option setting. When activated, a book icon appears on the agent’s replies. Clicking this icon reveals the resources that were referenced to generate the answer. If this setting is disabled, the book icon won’t appear, and users won’t have access to this information.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Choose the agent that you would like to change the answer knowledge demonstration setting for and navigate to the Interface tab in the sidebar on the left
2. Find the ‘Show Answer Knowledge‘ checkbox. When this setting is active users will be able to see the resources your AI Agent used to prepare an answer for them in your chat
3. You can also deactivate this feature using the checkbox. Thus, the symbol of the book will be hidden and no one will have the opportunity to see the resources that were used to generate the response
4. Don’t forget to save your settings
